We believe charging by the hour is the fairest approach for families, as every case is different. Some matters can be resolved quickly, while others may require more time depending on the complexity of the situation and the amount of information and evidence involved.
Before starting any work, we will aim to provide you with an estimate of the time likely to be required. We will keep you updated if we feel additional time may be needed, so you remain informed about the likely cost.
The hourly rate for all of our services is £75 and we can tailor support to meet your budget.
EHC Needs Assessment Request
We can support you to prepare and submit an EHC needs assessment request, ensuring that the application clearly sets out your child's special educational needs, the impact on their education and why an assessment may be necessary.

Draft EHCP/ Amended EHCP/ NOA Review
We can review your child's draft or amended EHCP, considering whether their needs, outcomes and provision are clearly reflected and whether the provision is sufficiently specific and quantified. We will provide detailed written feedback on the strength of the EHCP and annotations to show suggested edits.

Annual Review Attendance
Support before, during and after your child’s EHCP annual review. This can include preparation and review of relevant documents beforehand, attendance at the annual review meeting and support to ensure your views and your child’s needs are clearly discussed.

Online via video call for families further afield
The estimated 2–3 hours includes preparation and meeting attendance. The actual time required will depend on the individual circumstances and length of the meeting.

What is an EHC needs assessment?
An EHC needs assessment is an assessment by the Local Authority to determine whether a child or young person may need an Education, Health and Care Plan.
Can you help me request an EHC needs assessment?
Yes. We can help you prepare your request and ensure that the application clearly explains your child's special educational needs, the impact on their education and why an assessment may be necessary.
Can you guarantee that my child will get an EHCP?
No. An EHC needs assessment request does not guarantee that an EHCP will be issued. Our role is to help you present the relevant information and evidence clearly.
Can you review a draft EHCP?
Yes. We can review a draft EHCP and consider whether your child's needs, outcomes and provision are properly reflected and whether the wording is sufficiently specific and quantified.
Can you review a final EHCP?
Yes. We can review a final EHCP and identify areas where the plan may not accurately reflect your child's needs or the provision required.
How long does an EHCP review take?
A draft or final EHCP review is usually estimated at 2–3 hours, depending on the length and complexity of the plan and the evidence available.
